LANDSCAPE CONSULTATION
A Landscape Consultation is for those seeking to develop a new vision for a significant piece of land.
We meet on your property where we walk, observe and discuss your desires and dreams, refining these into a comprehensive vision that essentially becomes the ‘design brief’ for either the whole property or specific area.
During our time together I will share my insights, plant identification, provide soil analysis, advice on weed control and design ideas.
This one-to-two hour on-site meet up is followed up with the delivery of a personalised guiding document. This captures all that we discussed during my visit with provisional ideas, observations, resources and practical knowledge that will help you realise your vision step by step.
For those seeking further design detailing the next step is a Landscape Design Plan or Planting Plan for specific areas.

The next step in the design process is to develop your Landscape Consultation guiding-document into a detailed Landscape Design Plan – this is a macro-view of your entire property illustrating all the new design features and how they will work together.
We specialise in designing and implementing landscaping solutions that are functional, beautiful and ecologically enriching.
Our specialties include: subtropical, vegetable and herb gardens, aromatic herb and medicinal gardens, orchards, syntropic food forest design, soil and plant health.
We will go through the Landscape Design Plan together to make sure you are happy with all the new design elements of your dream garden.

PLANTING PLAN
Once you are happy with the overall Landscape Design Plan, you may require a detailed Planting Plan which includes all of the types and quantities of plants that feature in the new design.
Plants bring spaces alive, define edges and help create outside rooms. They can merge seamlessly into the wider landscape or attract attention and provide ‘wow’ factor.
Plants enjoy the company of other plants – we love combining them to achieve your desired aesthetic, while taking a lead from the pre-existing natural environment.
The Planting Plan clearly shows the placement of all the plants and includes their exact quantities and Latin names.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Once the Landscape Design and Planting Plan are completed we can discuss the stages involved in the gardens implementation.
We have relationships with a range of experienced contractors and offer plant sourcing to make sure you receive the best-quality plants for the most competitive price. We also offer soft landscaping implementation services which involves preparing the site for planting, staking, edging and mulching.
If you wish to implement the garden yourself we can provide you with all the best practice advice and methodologies you need to ensure success.

The Design Process
ON-SITE CONSULTATION
Step 1
We meet on your property to discuss your dreams and needs in consideration of seasonal landscape conditions.
GARDEN desigN CONCEPT PLAN
Step 2
Your vision takes shape as a concept design plan that communicates how your property is used, its features, style, materiality, plant suggestions and colour scheme.
Planting Plan
Step 3
This is the next stage of the concept plan or can be a stand alone service. You will receive a detailed planting plan that clearly shows the types of plants selected, their location and quantities required. Accompanying this is a guide on how to prepare the soil for planting, and post care notes.
Project Management
Step 4
Once the concept plan and/or planting plan is finalised the next stage is overseeing landscape preparation and implementation of any hard landscaping specified followed by plant sourcing, lay out, planting and final touches.
