GARDEN ENHANCEMENT – ADDING VALUE TO SELL – JACARANDA PLACE
Design Brief:
To beautify and add value to the property with an epic tidy up, add plants and wooden edging.
Approach:
To create a simple design with plants that can handle extreme conditions, provide structure and texture. We selected locally available plants including a range of succulents at the entrance with Lomandra ‘Misty Green’. The internal garden features a Ficus tuffy hedge with a Kowhai tree in the corner for future shade and screening, and Westringia brevifolia which can be pruned into cloud mounds, punctuated with Lomandra ‘Frosty Tops’. Opposite this, Eriostemon ‘Flower Girl’ is mass planted with Dicondra ‘Silver Falls’ below. Along the trellis Trachelospermum jasminoides was selected to provide the future owner with options to have it climb or maintained as a ground cover.

LAWN INTO MINI FORESTS – KAWAKAWA
Design Brief:
To create a welcoming, largely native garden that makes Geraldine feel “Ahhh I’m home”.
Approach:
From the image of her beautiful & symbolic tattoo I selected words to guide the design process – Protection (mountain), Restoration Profusion (miniature forest) and Purity (white hebe garden).
There are three island gardens each unique in form & colour but are united with intent & distinct ponga edging.
